Sherlock has adjusted wonderfully to life outside of the jail!. He is very well-behaved, quiet indoors, playful with dogs and cats, has shown no aggression (food or otherwise) toward our dogs, kids, or other people. Still learning his name ;) He prefers to lie on a rug at night instead of a dog bed. Sleeps through the night..guess he gets some serious zzzzzzz. Completely house trained, loves to exercise on walks- good on a leash for the most part (likely will improve with more walks!). Live up to the reputation of bassets and a good appetite! He enjoys riding in the car too. Gently paws at the door to let you know when he needs to go out and reminds you to let him back in. Very comfortable inside resting and out in the fresh air. Independent spirit exploring, also loves affection (two more traits of a basset). Understands the primary function of the fridge- hehe…NO surprise there! Any food hits the floor is fair game!
