Sweet, shy Shelly was abandanoned in her home along with two other dogs, but made her way to us and is now settling in to her foster home where she is eager for the love and attention of her humans. Maybe that's why she is just so happy to see us every time we come home. Despite her initial enthusiasm with humans, she is a very passive girl, gets along great with her more dominant foster brother and her elderly foster brother. Is completely housetrained with a doggy door, has never had one accident in the house. Loves the comfort of couch or human bed and has unusually good jumping skills for a basset, so has no problem getting on either. A very easy dog to own and to love, Shelly will return your love with much adoration and affection.
