About 30 Volunteers were in attendance with about 30 bassets hounds for our first Basset Bluebonnet Bash held on March 15th, 2008 at Breckinridge Park in Richardson.  Bassets "hunted" for Easter Eggs that were filled with doggie treats, and bassets competed in the Easter Bonnet Contest.  Lunch was provided by NTBHR in appreciation of the efforts of our fosters and volunteers.  Awards were presented by President, Mittie Keefe for fosters whose work was exceptional during the past few months.
