Rosie is about 12 years old and is a little lady. She is gentle, well mannered and on the petite side. She does not give kisses, but will nudge you when it is time to pet her. Like most Bassets, she likes her tummy rubbed. She gets along well with her 3 foster family's dogs and is happy to finish any food lift in bowls by her new friends. She prefers to whine to get your attention, but she will bark to make her point. The owner told us that she does occasionally get car sick, but we did not experience this issue when she visited the vet for her checkup, Rosie is pretty good on a leash, but you occasionally need to tug her if she stops to smell the roses. She is dog door trained and will go outside to sleep in the sun. She does love a comfy couch as well. She sleeps through the night on a dog bed in the bedroom. Rosie is a soft gentle soul looking for a loving family where she can curl up on the couch and be part of the family. Available for Adoption NOW!
