What a mystery! Nancy Droolable ended up at a North Texas Shelter, but you have to ask yourself why? She seems to have come straight from someone's home right into our adoption program, but she was a stray. Poor girl! She is very friendly and likeable, appears to be housetrained, at least with a doggie door, and wants to spend time with her people. Unlike her name suggests, Nancy is not a drooler, in fact, she seems to be dry-mouthed, so far as bassets go. Even though she's seen a few years, this gal still has a lot of energy, can really run fast, and has a lot of life and spunk left in her! She's not just a senior, she's 'mature' and 'aged' to perfection. This gal deserves a loving home, and someone who will really appreciate the fact that she is well adjusted and not a puppy anymore. This is one nice gal that will be the perfect addition to any family.
Foster Update: Nancy is a great girl and just wants to be part of the family. She gets along great with my other dogs (large and small), uses the doggie door (no accidents in the house at all), does not bother items in the house, stays out of the trash and does not counter surf. She is very loveable and has the softest fur you can imagine and very exotic coloring. If you are looking for a wonderful companion with many years of love to give, fill out an application and meet Nancy. Five stars - highly recommended! NOTE: Despite her name, Nancy does NOT drool!
