Flash is a super sweet boy who acts like he’s 3-4years old instead of the 10 year old he is. He loves to play with toys and wrestle with his housemates. He adores children and adults alike and wants to snuggle as much as you will allow. Every time my mother comes over, he finds a way into her lap for the duration of her visit.

During TV watching after dinner, it is mandatory that he gets some more lap time and has been known to remain on one of our laps for several hours.

He is crate trained, but only stays there while momma is out of the house. Otherwise he roams the castle with our resident Basset. Our daughter knows to keep her bedroom door shut, because like our resident dog, Flash will also steal and play with anything stuffed.

He sleeps on a plush pillow bed at night on the floor of our bedroom, until we fall asleep. Then he sneaks over and sleeps on the chaise lounge in our room. He thinks we don’t know. But we do.

Like any self respecting hound dog, he does believe that he is entitled to anything you might be eating or might have left on the counter, so keep your kitchen tidy. But he is very good about taking “no” for an answer and will go lay down and stare at you until you finish ---just in case you drop something.

He does not have great leash manners, and will require a very strong arm and some patience.

All in all he is an awesome dog and deserves a family that will love and spoil him with hugs and kisses.
