Fergie is a vivacious little tri-color female that is anxious to find a home of her own. Found as a stray in Dallas, Fergie was out for a stroll, and instead ended up searching for a forever home.....could yours be the perfect home for her? Foster Update: Are you looking for a sweet, energetic, lovable puppy? Then Fergie fits the bill! Fergie is all pup. She’s estimated to be between 14-16 months. Due to her high energy and puppy ways, it’d be best if she had a family who could devote time to her, teach her basic obedience, and consistently exercise her by going on walks. She learns from humans and other dogs in the home. She learned quickly how to use the doggie door and to the other rules at her foster parent’s home. She’s great with cats, too. Everyone is a playmate in her opinion. Since she is still a pup, children that are at least 5 years old or up are better suited for her. She does exhibit a bit of separation anxiety; so, having another dog, or someone who stays at home, would be ideal for this sweet girl. Fergie is definitely a Velcro dog — she needs to be with her people. As all Bassets, she considers herself to be a lap dog.
