Sheldon came to us as a stray, but it is obvious that he was cared for and loved at some point. At first, he was a very vocal basset and barked a lot. But his fosters found out that his barking was just anxiety and excitement. Once he settled in and got treatment for two different ear infections, he has become a a gentle dog who just loves his neck scratches! Now, he only barks when he is excited that his humans have returned home or he is about to go for a walk. He loves to be in the same room with his humans and enjoys following them around like a shadow. As with any basset, he definitely loves his treats! He also is quite trained - Sheldon is housebroken and knows how to sit and stay on command. His favorite pastime is chilling out and dozing off on his dog bed.
