Norman Rockwell is a classic basset! He's a friendly, affectionate little guy, who was a stray that came to us with heartworms. One of the signs of a bad owner, is one who does not make sure that their basset puppy is protected from heartworms! It only costs about $100/year to protect your dog, but the treatment is 4 times that amount. Because of the humid climate in North Texas, all unprotected dogs will probably become infected. Norman Rockwell hates to paint an ugly picture, but 'thems the facts'! And now poor Norman will have to undergo the lengthy, painful treatments that will save his life from those nasty parasites. Norman would like to remind you to keep your basset safe in your home, and keep him/her on heartworm preventative all year long! It's a killer!
