Rosemary is a gorgeous tri-color female who was found with Peaches as a stray in a north Texas rural community. Obviously grossly neglected, Rosemary, too was used as a 'brood matron' by some irreputable breeder. Still carrying milk for her puppies (who knows where they are?) that wasn't the only thing she was carrying! Mange, staph infections, yeast infections, fleas----Rosemary is the perfect example of the "mother behind the scenes" when you purchase that cute little puppy from an irreputable breeder or from a store. Had Basset Rescue not intervened, Rosemary and Peaches would not have lived much longer.
