Baxter came to Basset Rescue with his lifelong partner, Bailey.  He is friendly with other dogs, totally housetrained and ready to start a new life with a new family.  Typical lazy basset, Baxter enjoys eating and laying around waiting for the next meal!  He's great on walks and loves lots of belly rubs.  Bailey is his best friend, and needs to be adopted with her.  Please read about Bailey, too!
