What a pretty sweet girl with just a hint of mischievousness now coming out. She gets along pretty well with my other two, but they have had to
fuss at her a couple of times for being a little overbearing. We are trying to work on her manners. She did knock over the trash once (now been removed from her reach), has attempted a couple of recon missions on the kitchen counters, and her best work has been knocking over one of the latched dry food containers and having a party (now been removed from her reach as well). You can tell she is feeling much better and loves playing with stuffed toys (has not chewed on anything else). She has had a couple of accidents in the house, but has picked up the doggy door very quickly. She's a smart girl. She is a little bit of an attention hog (I'm sure because she has not had any). She follows you from room to room when you move, and does not like it when you pet the other two dogs. We are trying to give her lots of attention when we are home. Even though she would be fine with other dogs, Sadie would do fine as an only dog too. She would be fine with older children, I think she might knock over a smaller child. She can have a tendency to jump up, or to get under your feet. That may change when she settles in some. She loves to sleep with you and snuggle. VERY VERY sweet! Has learned to use the ramps on the bed. She has a lot of energy for a dog her age and one that has been sick. Does not act like she is 6 years old at all. Sadie is doing really well. She has put on some weight and is doing much better in the manners department. She is still very driven by food, but is starting to figure out that she is not going to miss many meals around our house. As long as you keep it out of her reach, you are good to go. She loves sleeping in the bed and snuggeling with you. She is great with all people (very loving). I still think she would do better around older children since she can get under your feet, and she takes food from your hands roughly. We are still working on that. I have not walked her, due to the heartworms, but I am sure she will love that. She has a lot of energy.
